Historic Samaritan House rededicated on 30th anniversary

Thirty years after Samaritan House made history as the first shelter in America built and designed for the homeless, a group of Catholic Charities donors and staff commemorated its years of mercy to the poor. Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila of the Archdiocese of Denver celebrated Mass and rededicated the building located in downtown Denver on Dec. 10 before a reception that was held inside.
